STEM Educational Consulting emerged from a recognised need for STEM development programs for teachers. Having worked in academia, Dr Adam Bertram noticed that there was an obvious gap between the preparedness of teachers (especially students of teaching) and the mandatory STEM curriculum requirements. Few professional development opportunities existed at the time to support new and existing teachers in the teaching of STEM, and more importantly, in their STEM pedagogical content knowledge. STEM Educational Consulting was created to address these needs and to face the increasing challenges of STEM education.
